Roy Molina, MD

Dr. Molina grew up in Corpus Christi, TX.

Dr. Molina graduated University of Texas in Austin. After training in Texas & Kansas he practiced in Columbia, MO then moved to Des Moines in 1990.  

Dr. Molina joined MOHA in Oct 2000.

Dr. Molina trained at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston where he completed internship and residency. He completed his fellowship in medical oncology at the University of Kansas.

Dr. Molina has double board certifications in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.

Office locations are 1212 Pleasant at the Stoddard Cancer Center Tue & Thurs.   (515-282-2921) and 411 Laurel(515-643-8740) Mercy Hospital Mon, Tue & Thurs. and Ft Dodge Cancer Center (515-643-8740) Weds.

Dr. Molina has a longstanding interest in quality of care. He is the chairman of the Quality Assurance Committee & chairs The Practice Guidelines Committee for MOHA.

We monitor compliance and quality of care for the group. We are very proud of our care, achieving among the highest quality of care in the country when measured against national guidelines.

Dr. Molina is married and has three grown children. He likes to play the piano, grow orchids and garden.
